Encouraging engineers of the future

Date: 17/10/2017

Congratulations to all involved in the Richard Lander Racing team at Richard Lander School, Truro. The team have become the first from Cornwall to win the F24 Greenpower World Championship beating teams from as far as Brazil and Australia.

It has been a ten-year journey for staff and students, with the aim to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists. The Richard Lander Greenpower team, an extra curricular activity, meets once a week to build and develop new cars. Through this, students understand the the skills and processes involved in modern engineering.
